Description:
Dispatched for a structure fire. Medic 3 diverted from a non-emergency assignment and arrived within one minute. They found a 1.5 story, commercial structure with heavy smoke showing from the exterior at Division "A". Crews initiated an interior attack; however, rapidly deteriorating conditions and fire breaking through the roof, caused crews to be pulled and a defensive / exterior attack commenced. Tower Ladder 1 (supplied by Tenders) controlled the fire with its elevated master stream.
