Located in South West Nevada approximately 45
miles from Las Vegas, Pahrump Valley Fire-Rescue Services serves a
rapidly growing population of approximately 40,000 permanent and 5,000
seasonal residents.
Under the direction of Fire Chief Scott F. Lewis, the
department provides Fire Suppression, HAZ Mat, Fire Prevention /
Inspections, Technical Rescue and Advanced Life Support EMS Services.

The department staff consists of career, intermittent and volunteer
members answering approximately 8,000 emergency responses annually.
From four stations, the department covers 400 square miles and an
additional 200 square miles automatic mutual aid. Three of the four
stations are manned full time with career personnel.

The department fleet consists of:
